COOKPLAYfor hospitality
Tableware with organic shapes, from Bilbao
Cookplay designs tableware with organic shapes inspired by nature, from Bilbao in Spain. Designer and CEO Ana Roquero leads the brand, which grew out of a design consultancy with more than fifteen years of experience.
Cookplay is not in our webshop. Debecker supplies it on request.
Sustainable materials
Cookplay wants to create a new generation of tableware, with new organic shapes in sustainable materials. The brand works with materials ranging from biodegradable ones to long-lasting porcelain and stainless steel.
Bespoke projects
Because Cookplay comes from a design consultancy, it also designs and produces exclusive projects for hospitality, with a shape of its own for a restaurant or hotel.
When Cookplay fits
Cookplay suits a kitchen that sees the plate as part of the dish, and a venue that wants a recognisable, natural shape on the table.
Ana Roquero's design
Ana Roquero describes herself as a minimalist: she likes things that are quiet, pure and graphic, but sensual and organic at the same time. You see that in Cookplay's tableware, with shapes that recall nature and give a dish a natural frame.
Preparing your request
Start from the menu: which dishes go on which plate, and how many covers you lay at once. Plan a reserve per piece for washing during service and for breakage. Also measure your dishwasher racks and your plate and warming cabinets: a plate that just does not fit costs time every day.
