In the nineteenth century the workshop grew into a factory. Broggi worked with its own silver alloy and supplied the Italian royal house from 1872. In 1875 it created its own cutlery pattern for the new Hotel Confortable in Milan, the start of its hotel supplies. The navy and shipping lines followed.

Next to silver-plated pieces, Broggi has made stainless steel cutlery since 1950, the material most venues use every day. The brand therefore stands in two worlds: classic hotel silver and cutlery for a full dining room.

Broggi suits a venue looking for cutlery with a long history, a hotel that wants one style from restaurant to room service, or a banquet where the serveware has to match the cutlery.

In 1884 Broggi became the supplier of cutlery and serveware for the officers' messes of the Italian navy. Two years later the company received a prize from the Lombard Institute of Sciences for bringing the silverware industry to Italy. In 1888 Broggi moved to its current address in Milan, and in 1906 it became a public limited company, still led by the family.

Count which pieces you need per cover: table knife, fork and spoon, dessert cutlery and coffee spoon, and where needed a steak or fish knife. Then work with the number of covers in the room and a reserve for washing during service and for losses. Also mention how the cutlery is washed and stored, so we suggest the right version.
