Stainless steel cookware from Belgium, since 1908
Demeyere makes stainless steel cookware. The family company was founded in 1908 near Antwerp and first made tins for a Belgian biscuit maker. A hundred years later the family sold the company to Zwilling, of which Demeyere is part today.

Demeyere is still made in Belgium. According to Zwilling, the cookware is made for the demands of busy restaurant kitchens and is used by chefs and home cooks worldwide.
From tins to cooking pots
The company started with tins and grew into a well-known name in stainless steel pots and pans.

Demeyere suits a kitchen that cooks a lot on the hob and wants cookware that gives the same results every day, and home cooks who want professional equipment.
Innovation in stainless steel
Maurice Demeyere founded the company; since 1963 it has made stainless steel products. Demeyere developed Silvinox, a treatment that keeps stainless steel bright and easier to clean, TriplInduc in the late 1980s, which makes the cookware work on every hob including induction, and in 1993 InductoSeal, a base with a copper core for better heat distribution. The brand has also worked with designer John Pawson.
