Pioneer of a new technique

Every Esma Dereboy piece is born from a revolutionary vision that has written history. In 2008, her artistic journey began in an ordinary workshop, but her curiosity and innovative perspective transformed clay into stunning artworks. With the embedding technique she carefully developed in her own studio, she became the very first artist in the world to apply this technique in the ceramic world. Here, porcelain isn't simply made – here, ceramic history is rewritten.

From Kütahya to the world

Born in Kütahya in 1980 – the historic heart of Turkish ceramic tradition – Esma brought her passion from a 60 square meter workshop to a 750 square meter atelier. Her groundbreaking embossing and relief techniques made her the first and only designer of ceramic relief patterns in her field. Each piece is handmade from a special clay mixture, slip-cast and fired at 1200°C for top-quality ceramics.

Recognized on the international stage

When Maison&Objet in Paris first introduced her handmade porcelain in September 2018, when prestigious hotels like JOALI Maldives order exclusive collections, and when her Capsule Collection wins both the international Red Dot and IF Design Awards, it speaks volumes. Mix&Match revolution

In 2018, Esma's passion took a new turn with her handmade porcelain dinnerware. Her innovative Mix&Match concept offers the flexibility to create your own unique table setting. Modern, minimalist and sustainable – each piece can be combined differently thanks to the design, selected colors and delicate structure. The 30-45 day production process results in unique forms that last for generations.
