Esma Dereboy porcelain is made by hand in Istanbul, by the company that designer Esma Dereboy founded in 2008. At Debecker you will find Esma Dereboy for hospitality and for the home: 116 items in 9 collections, from plates and bowls to espresso cups, cake stands and vases.
Made by hand
Every piece is shaped and glazed by hand. The colour can therefore differ slightly from piece to piece, and that is the point: a table set with Esma Dereboy looks like crafted tableware, not a factory series. Esma Dereboy received an iF Design Award and a Red Dot Award for her designs.
Plain or two-tone
Most pieces come in one colour or in two. Ivory is the base that returns in every collection. Next to it you will find aqua, nile, ocean, coral, rock and black. Because the same colours return across collections, you can put a round plate next to a Tube bowl without the table looking busy.
Plates in four shapes
Round has dinner plates, deep plates, starter and dessert plates, bread plates, soup bowls and a pizza plate. Square and Rectangle offer the same functions in a square or rectangular shape, with serving platters in three sizes. Stone has plates with a free, stone-like shape and the Pebble mini plates of 8.5, 11 and 13.5 cm.
Coffee, tea and water
Tube has conical bowls and water cups, espresso cups with and without a handle, a mug, a tea cup and a milk jug. Capsule adds bowls, a salad bowl, a small spice pot and a jug set. Corinth has an espresso cup, a tea cup, a mug and an ice cream bowl.
Cake stands and vases
The Cylinder collection includes the Tree cake stands in three sizes, in black and ivory, for cake, petits fours or a cold platter on the buffet. Corinth has three small vases, mini, short and midi, for a flower on every table.

Choosing Esma Dereboy for your venue
- Breakfast and brunch. The Round egg cups, the bread plates, the Tube and Capsule mugs and the milk jug.
- Coffee bar and tearoom. Espresso cups from Tube (also without a handle), Capsule and Corinth, the tea cups with saucer and a Tree cake stand on the counter.
- Lunch and dinner. Round or Square as the base, Stone for a dish that should stand out, and a Cylinder or Tube bowl for salad or poke.
- Amuse-bouche and dessert. The Pebble mini plates of 8.5 to 13.5 cm, the dessert plates and the Corinth ice cream bowl.
- Buffet and hotel. The rectangular and square serving platters and the Capsule and Cylinder salad bowls for a breakfast or lunch buffet.
Esma Dereboy at home
At home Esma Dereboy works best when you pick one base colour, usually ivory, and add a second colour with bowls or cups. That way you build the set in parts, without buying a full service at once. Private customers order in the webshop with prices including VAT.
Ordering and delivery
Esma Dereboy mostly comes in packs of 6; the cake stands and the jug set singly. The number is listed with the product. Other porcelain brands are under hospitality tableware. Venues in Antwerp and Walloon Brabant order online; in the showroom in Marke (Kortrijk) you see the colours side by side: book an appointment.
Private customers see prices in the webshop including 21% VAT. Debecker delivers in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. In Belgium, shipping costs €8 incl. VAT and is free from €100 incl. VAT. To the Netherlands and Luxembourg, shipping is €25 incl. VAT, free from €1,000 incl. VAT. For hospitality businesses there is a separate professional webshop.
