ROBBE & BERKINGfor hospitality
Silver cutlery from Flensburg, since 1874
Robbe & Berking is a silver manufactory in Flensburg, in northern Germany. Nicolaus Christoph Robbe started a small workshop for silver cutlery and tableware there in 1874, together with his wife Luise. In 1897 the young silversmith Robert Berking joined, married Robbe's daughter and became co-owner.
Robbe & Berking is not in our webshop. Debecker supplies it on request.
Always in Flensburg
The company is run today by the fifth generation of the family and has always produced exclusively in Flensburg. According to the company, 45 to 50 steps are needed before a piece of cutlery leaves the manufactory.
Silver, silver plate and stainless steel
Robbe & Berking makes sterling silver and silver-plated cutlery, as well as stainless steel cutlery, tableware and bar collections. Cutlery can be engraved, and the brand also works for yachts.
When Robbe & Berking fits
Robbe & Berking suits a fine dining restaurant or hotel that wants silver cutlery on the table, and a venue looking for cutlery with its own engraving.
Preparing your request
Count which pieces you need per cover: table knife, fork and spoon, dessert cutlery and coffee spoon, and where needed a steak or fish knife. Then work with the number of covers in the room and a reserve for washing during service and for losses. Also mention how the cutlery is washed and stored, so we suggest the right version.
