JAMBOfor hospitality
Home fragrances and scented candles, created in Grasse and made in Belgium
Jambo home fragrances, scented candles and room sprays give a space its own scent, from a hotel entrance to a restaurant lounge. The scents were developed with perfumers in Grasse, in the south of France; further development and production take place in Belgium, with local craftspeople. At Debecker you will find Jambo for hospitality and for the home: 108 items in three lines, Elegante, Exclusivo and Prestigio, plus walnut dishes and a candle care set.
Jambo means hello
Jambo is Swahili for hello, a word to welcome someone. That suits a scent in the entrance: the first thing a guest notices, even before seeing a table or a room. The scents are named after distant places, such as Sahara, Serengeti, Moorea, Iguazu and Pico Turquino.
Three lines
Elegante has four scents, Cacao, Iguazu, Maui and Namaqua, as a home fragrance and as a room spray of 100 and 500 ml. Exclusivo is the widest line, with twelve scents from Burano to Yejele and the black Lumo Nero outdoor candles. Prestigio has Palawan, Papua, Peppara and Pico Turquino.
From 200 ml to 3 litres
The home fragrances come in 200 ml, 500 ml and 3 litres, and in Exclusivo and Prestigio also in sizes XS to L. A small bottle fits on a washbasin or a desk, the large one in a spacious hall or lobby. Every scent has a 500 ml refill.
What you smell
Each scent has a top, heart and base note. Sahara opens with nutmeg, with black leather and cacao beneath. Maremma combines lime, violet and prickly pear, Pico Turquino pepper, saffron and sandalwood, and Maui orange, freesia and rose on cedarwood.

Choosing Jambo for your venue
- Hotel. A 3 litre bottle in the lobby and smaller bottles in the rooms or at reception, in the same scent.
- Restaurant. A scent in the entrance and the toilets, not at the table, where it would compete with the food.
- Terrace and garden. The Lumo Nero outdoor candles, in sizes S and M.
- Shop, salon or practice. A 100 or 500 ml room spray to freshen the space before the first customer.
A scent as house style
A fixed scent becomes part of your venue, like the logo or the music. Choose one scent for every space where guests come, so they recognise it on their next visit. If you are torn between a few scents, start with a room spray from the Elegante line and then choose the home fragrance in the right size.
Refills and care
Every scent has a 500 ml refill, so the bottle stays and only the scent is topped up. A candle care set goes with the candles, and the walnut dishes in four sizes give a bottle or candle a fixed place. Compare with the other pieces among our table accessories.
Jambo at home
At home, a small bottle in the hall and a larger one in the living room, or a scented candle lit with the aperitif. A scent with a walnut dish is also a gift that lasts, especially with a refill. Private customers order in the webshop with prices including VAT.
